Mirror
Three months ago I uploaded a bunch of files from “Lantmäteriet”, which basically is Minecraft saves, representing semi-accurate maps over Sweden and some of its cities. While I’ve never told people about this, I found out that someone have downloaded all of them 4-5 times since upload. I plan to maybe find who did it (I save all logs since server was installed), but maybe leave it be. But as I saw a clear download pattern, I expect to find out if someone is scraping my mirror for data.
The source is a bit of a mess, so I am not sure how long it will take to make it open source.
File sharing is hard to do, as they either removes your files, limits your bandwidth or add extra “features” which makes it harder to use. They also could own your files when you upload them and you have no way to remove them.
Therefore this simple Mirror was created to make it quite easy to upload and share files. It shows information about each folder and files: modification time; download count; icon depending on extension; file size.
